BMSTU Journal of Mechanical Engineering
Since January 2020 journal Proceedings of Higher Educational Institutions. Маchine Building changed its name to BMSTU Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
The main objective of the journal is to give scientists the opportunity to publish their research findings, highlight the most relevant, promising and interesting branches of mechanical engineering and facilitate the exchange of opinions between researchers from different countries and regions.
The journal publishes results of theoretical and experimental research carried out by staff members of higher educational institutions and scientific centres in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Machine Science, Power, Metallurgic and Chemical Engineering and Aviation, Rocket and Technology.
The journal is intended for lecturers, post-graduate students and scientific staff of higher educational institutions, scientific and research centers, design and engineering companies.
One of the key points of the journal’s policy is thorough peer review of the papers that it publishes. Reviewing and editing is carried out in accordance with the established requirements for the publication of scientific literature. The articles submitted to the editorial office are subjected to anonymous peer review. The authors sent a review copy, or a reasoned refusal. The editorial office reserves the right to choose a reviewer. The journal’s opinion may not coincide with the opinion of the authors of the materials that it publishes. The editorial office reserves the right to shorten and make editorial changes to the manuscripts. Copying, placement or distribution of the published articles as well as the materials that appear on the official site is prohibited without prior written consent of the editorial office. Violation of the exclusive rights of the editorial office to use the submitted and reviewed materials is prosecuted by law.

The originals of the reviews are kept at the editorial office of the journal BMSTU Journal of Mechanical Engineering for at least 5 years.
The adherence to this policy attracts the authors representing research and teaching staff in higher education in the Russian Federation, CIS and other countries, heads of ministries and government departments, large and small enterprises, post-graduate students.
The journal is included in the list approved by the VAK RF journals to publish papers of candidates degrees.
The journal is included in RISC, platform Russian Science Citation Index Web of Science.
The journal does not pay royalties for the published articles.
When reprinting the articles, reference to the journal is compulsory.
The manuscripts are not returned.
